Materials Selection Criteria

Materials included in the resources are selected by experts in the field of HIV/AIDS and Sexual and Reproductive Health Integration. The criteria for including materials in the list are as follows:

• Relevant to both HIV/AIDS and Sexual and Reproductive Health (rather than either alone)
• Up-to-date: published since 1999 (except for classic materials)
• Technically relevant and accurate
• Produced by a reputable source; for example:
  • Peer-reviewed journals
  • WHO
  • Universities
  • Advance Africa Best Practices compendium
• Concise: Articles generally no more than 10-20 pages

In general, resources are screened to include the most recent scientific findings, as well as a variety of points of view so as to have the benefit of the full range of current thinking.

How does Word Verification work?
